Advanced UGV Communication Solution for Remote Operations in Complex Environments
FDM-6800 provides robust video and control channels for drones and robotics in Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) conditions.
FDM-6800 is based on enhanced IP star network technology and IWAVE special high spectral efficiency waveform. This unique feature gives FDM-6800 an ability to support high throughput up to 120Mbps in the video channel and superior robustness in the control channel.
Video channel can be easily connected through the Ethernet interface. Ethernet, RS232/RS485 or TTL interfaces can be used for the control channel.
FDM-6800 supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint network topologies. For high robustness, it is equipped with algorithms for suppression of narrowband and pulse interference. FDM-6800 supports also such interesting features as an adaptive transmission power control, TX-RX range estimation and IPv4 frames routing.
IWAVE’s Star Network Technology enables seamless multi-band, multi-channel coordination in a single device. Switch effortlessly between L-band (1.4GHz) and UHF (600MHz) via software for superior penetration & anti-interference.
FDM-6800 adopts IWAVE team’s speical algorithm and mechanism to achieve frequency hopping function. During working, FDM-6800 will internally calculate and evaluate the current link based on factors such as received signal strength RSRP, signal-to-noise ratio SNR, and bit error rate SER. If its judgment condition is met, it will perform frequency hopping and Select an optimal frequency point from the list. Whether to perform frequency hopping depends on the wireless state. If the wireless state is good, frequency hopping will not be performed until the judgment condition is met.
