The FDM-6825PTM, designed by IWAVE, is a cutting-edge wireless transmission solution based on a mature SOC chipset. Featuring 2 watts power output and 2x2 MIMO, it provides robust and secure IP-based communication for HD video, data, and serial control.

It has great advantages in applied for VTOL/fixed wing drone/helicopter wireless transmission with only 273g weight.

It comes in 10W and 20W version to create an encrypted communications link for UGV swarm beyond line of sight in complex RF environments.

Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS)

IWAVE IP MESH product will internally calculate and evaluate the current link based on factors such as received signal strength RSRP, signal-to-noise ratio SNR, and bit error rate SER. If its judgment condition is met, it will perform frequency hopping and select an optimal frequency point from the list.

Whether to perform frequency hopping depends on the wireless state. If the wireless state is good, frequency hopping will not be performed until the judgment condition is met.

Automatic Frequency Point Control

After booting, it will try to network with the pre-stored frequency points before the last shutdown. If the pre-stored frequency points are not suitable for network deployment, it will automatically try to use other available frequency points for network deployment.
